Turmeric Root is a musculoskeletal anti-inflammatory, which means it is a wonderful and powerful tool to fight inflammation of any kind in the body. It also provides antioxidants and immune-regulating effects. Some practitioners use Turmeric to ease inflammation specifically related to the gastrointestinal tract, ie IBS and ulcers of the stomach.

Ginger Root works as a potent ant-microbial that enhances circulation & aids in increasing the action of other herbs by dilating the blood vessels. It is commonly used to stimulate the immune system & works well against cold & flus because of it’s anti-viral & infection fighting effects. It can also be a great tool for fighting nausea.

Cinnamon is a strong anti-bacterial, anti-fungal & anti-viral with the ability to regulate blood sugar & improve digestion. It is also a wonderful source of anti-oxidants.

Black Pepper is a necessary ingredient to add to anything with Turmeric Root, as it activates Turmeric’s healing properties.
